Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

Komplyo places the highest importance on protecting your personal data. This policy describes the data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

Komplyo is the controller of the personal data collected through this service. For any question about your data, write to us at bastien@komplyo.eu.

Data we collect

Free diagnostic: at the end of the diagnostic, we collect your email address to send you your report.

Account creation: when you sign up, we collect your name, email address and a password (stored in encrypted form).

Questionnaire answers: the answers you provide in the diagnostic and the assessment are stored to compute your maturity scores and generate your documents.

Purposes and legal basis

Your data is processed to provide the service (performance of the contract), to send you your diagnostic report (your consent), and to keep the platform secure (legitimate interest).

Hosting and data location

Your data is hosted within the European Union. Our database (Neon) is located in Frankfurt, Germany. The application is deployed on Netlify.

Processors

We use Resend to send our transactional emails. This provider acts as a processor and only uses your data to deliver our messages.

Retention

Anonymous diagnostic cookie (komplyo_hook): 7 days.

Anonymous diagnostic: answers tied to an anonymous diagnostic are kept until they are linked to an account at sign-up, then for the lifetime of the account.

Account and assessments: kept for the duration of the contractual relationship, then deleted or anonymised.

Cookies

We use only strictly functional cookies, which do not require your consent: a session cookie (authentication), the komplyo_hook cookie (7 days, to resume your diagnostic) and a display-preference cookie (komplyo-theme, light/dark theme).

We use no advertising or analytics tracking cookies. No consent banner is therefore required.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, write to us at bastien@komplyo.eu.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL — www.cnil.fr).
